Parasite Queen-This is probably the simplist boss in the whole game, even on Hard Mode. Just use the Strafe technique while the huge bug is firing at you. You will lose very little damage if you keep doing this, but when you get to the hole in the barrier charge up a Power Beam and hit it. Use missiles sparingly because they do not hit very well or very much.
Totem Hive-The room you are in automaticaaly floods when you get close to the missiles, and the main thing to do here is to stay on! Stay in one spot and shoot the wasps when they stop moving. Try to get most of them the first time because it gets harder to see them when there are only a couple. Once you have killed them all a red spot appears on the machine. keep shooting at this until it closes. Repeat until dead(it, not you).
Plated Beetle-When you are in the pit kill off the beetles and out comes a super-sized one. you can only hit it after it has charged. This isn't that hard, all you gotta do is lock-on and stand right in front of it until it backs up. Then send out at least one missile. Just keep going at this same thing until the butt falls off.
Incinerator Drone-Another wasp boss, strafe and dodge and shoot the red spot, followed by the killing of the wasps. After a while the hive that the drone shoots at will catch fire and you have beaten it.
Flaahgra-Finally, a difficult boss! Strafe around Flaahgra, and if you are scanning make sure you get both the vine and body. when you reach a thing with a red dot that iis down, lock-on to it and then shoot a charged shot really quickly. Depending on the amount of times you have hit him, there will be more dots (1, 2, 3, 4) and the jolly green giant can put them back down, which is especially annoying when you must hit four. when you see Flaahgra collapse from lack of sunlight each time the red dots are gone, go into morph ball mode and go into the place where the vines have shrunken into. Get to the in and get locked in, then let out a bomb. Four times, and you get your original suit back. This method sent in by Brett Pynes: Make sure you have some missiles, and dash over to one of the lamps without stunning him. Shoot the red button until the lamp flips up and then shoot two missiles at him before he knocks the lamp into place. If your missiles are low, then use charged beams. Then roll into the nearest slot and lay bombs. Keep doing this until all lamps are put into place, and he dies. Oh, and try to grab the ammo and energy dropped from the destroyed slots if you run out of missiles.
Baby/Sheegoth-Before you get to see the huge monster, there are several Baby Sheegoths you must defeat. To kill them: The easy thing to do is to lock-on and then strafe behind it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MISSILES HERE! Use your charge beam on them, and remember when you get the Wave Beam to use that, it is much easier. When the ice shell is off, let off a series of blasts and it will fall to the ground dead. There are at least three of these. Next the actual adult version appears. Lock-on and strafe around him until he uses the Ice breath, at which point shoot missiles at his lower jaw. He will blink red if you hit him, which is very annoying because it is hard to hit him.
Thardus-sorry ive been meaning to post this but keep forgetting to save it. wut u do is go into thermal visor and lock-on to the part that is heat. kill that, and then go back to the normal visor and kill it again. when he rolls into a ball do the same thing until he is very close to u. then just let out a few bombs, dont worry about getting hurt. this is much simpler than repeating step one over and over.
Chozo Ghosts-This method was sent in from Artanon15: The Chozo ghosts can be quite hard without the X-ray visor, but it is doable. When they become visable, target them and blast them with the power beam (they are impervious to anything else). I've found the charged-up version works better, but it takes longer. Always try and tackle them from a corner, so they can't sneak up behind you. And for Samus`s sake, don't let them hit you!!!! Their blasts stun Samus for three or so seconds, preventing counter-attacks, AND they negate a waiting charge. If they jump and float in the air, they are unable to attack for a short time as they charge their "spectral blasts" (hint, hint, nuge, nuge, SHOOT THEM NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Once you have the x-ray visor, you can track them even when they are invisible, so you can kill them quicker. ^_^
Elite Pirate-This method sent in by gamer201 (at GameFAQs):Use a few Super Missiles, and use the Thermal Visor if you want to target and destroy it Plasma Artillery Cannon.
Invisible Security Drone-This method sent in by gamer201(at GameFAQs): Wavebuster, or target its little lights and launch a Super Missile at the point between the lights.
Phazon Elite-This method sent in by gamer201(at GameFAQs): Charged Plasma Beam shots or Super Missiles.
Omega Pirate-This method sent in by gamer201(at GameFAQs): Ah, my favorite. Use charged Plasma Beam shots or Super Missiles on the Phazon plates on its body(one on each limb), and it'll call Beam Troopers to fight you and will disappear. Turn on the X-Ray Visor and ignore the Troopers. When you see OP appear in a pool of Phazon in the room, Super Missile. Forget the Plasma Beam.
Meta-Ridley-For the air this isnt so hard, just shoot at him with plasma blasts when he is really close and avoid his bombs until he is on the ground with about 2/3 of his health. This method sent in by Major Gamer(at GameFAQs):Ground part use Wavebuster if you have loads of missiles. Otherwise just hit his mouth with a charge power beam shot then hit his chest with a Super Missile. Also, when he is looking for you to charge, strafe around him so he doesn't see you since he usually gives up after a bit and opens his mouth.
Metroid Prime(Shell)-This method sent in by Major Gamer(at GameFAQs): Just shoot Ice Spreaders, Super Missiles, and charged shtos of the other two at its corosponding color.
this method sent in by max stubbs: use super missles and ice spreader. after the ice spreader always fire one missile to ensure damage. as for the other two beam attacks, use them charged only so as to conserve missile ammo for the hunter and normal metroids for the next form. when the shell is going to the other side, its best to take the left trench. keep going forward through the trench and his leg will bounce you out of the trench without damaging you. destroy those little floaty energy balls with missiles and super missiles
Metroid Prime(Core)-This method sent in by Major Gamer(at GameFAQs):Phazon Beam. Enough said. Just Ice and Missile the metroids it sends and power bomb the fission metroids.
this method sent in by max stubbs: you may not notice since your busy jumping over his flames, but the entire room is filled with those energy balls that fill a whole tank of life. so always have your power beam charged so you can pull them in while avoiding damage. when he starts sending out metroids, the first two kinds can be frozen and killed with a missile, although a power bomb would be quicker. with fission metroids its better to power bomb them or forget about them since if their in front of you when you shoot metroid prime with the phazon beam they will be destroyed.
This method sent in by Justin Edens: Most of them say use ice a bombs on metroids that the core spawns. This takes time out of blowing away the boss. Just stand in the pool of Phazon and sweep them with your Phazon beam. They will all die in one hit. Then just blast the boss with your Phazon beam. Rinse and Repeat.
